Lead Game Marketing Consultant
Hi!
We’re looking for someone with experience in game marketing to help lead our marketing efforts. This will include working with others on the team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience planning, executing, and measuring key marketing beats (announcement, gameplay reveal, release, etc.)
- Experience sending Press Releases, early access keys, and maintain relationships and follow-ups
- Familiarity with the culture of different social platforms (Imgur, Reddit, Twitter) and ideally lurker/poster
- Ability to coordinate with other team members and delegate tasks
- Proactive and out-of-the-box thinking to assess new opportunities
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience in marketing a full lifecycle of a game (from announcement to post-release)
- Experience working with console and platform holders on marketing opportunities
- Participating and exhibiting at events (such as PAX, SXSW, GDC, etc.)
- Experience with paid advertising (such as FB or Reddit ads)
We’re open and flexible to trying different things and ideas – whatever would help the game most :) Ultimately, we’re looking for someone who can tell us what needs to be done, than the other way around.
This is a remote and paid position, starting at about ~10hrs a week but adjustable as we go along and around major beats. We’d likely agree on a stable monthly payment to work within.
